Yeah, I'll concede that I'm not the only one who buys into Steam sales only to get games that have been sitting around in the library which I'll "get to" eventually.
Either way, I prefer PC gaming because I built and repaired PCs for a semi-living (Not anymore, college!). Not to mention it consolidates everything, which is convenient.
If the next generation of consoles came out at nearly the last generation's introductory prices, then PC gaming isn't really much more expensive. The hardware ploy is a bit of a gimmick, too. You don't always need to upgrade when something new is out.
Graphics on lots of PC games probably won't be much better either way, since plenty are console ports, too.
