Subject: Governments want to censor the internet.... again!

Rustled Jimmies

Google has a petition for people to sign

Government leaders including the US and the UN are going to meet behind closed doors to discuss the censorship of the internet this December! Voice your opinion to tell them that you don't want your internet censored!

Apparently it's against the rules to link a petition here on the flood, so if you want to sign youll have to go onto google and sign there

Talking about Sweden is an ultrabannable offense.

Too bad being completely and utterly wrong isn't a bannable offense.

Good ol' fashion torches and pitchforks riot.

OT: you're worrying too much. The first bill got shut down, what makes you think the second attempt will work?

the only one here who's gullible is you for being so ignorant and stupid to believe that the US isn't affected by this!

the internet is a world-wide-web that means everyone is affected by this.

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

Please allow me to introduce Myself

So...ummm...does anyone know what they are trying to do....other than "Censor the Internet"....like, how and stuff? Just wondering if anyone in here knows what they are posting about, and if it even effects them...you know...just saying...

Well, just knowing the Government is trying to "censor" the Internet and are discussing it behind the people's back is reason enough to show worry.
Bad things happen when the Government decides to hide things.

They won't stop until it passes. Honestly, you know your government is corrupt beyond belief if they try to force a bill that people have said no to multiple times. If the general public voted it would be somewhere around 95% against.

Has anyone else noticed how it's a holiday season bill as well? Well if they know you'll hate it, they try to do it in a way that it will receive as little attention as possible.
