Nobody cares about anyone else's opinion - be it mine, yours, or a cult of angry star wars nerds - when they are enjoying what they enjoy.

"Spartan Ops is a new story-driven game mode set to feature in Halo 4 and will replace the Firefight mode that appeared in Halo 3: ODST. Gamers can play it on their own or co-operatively with up to three other players, and the first Season of Spartan Ops plans to deliver five new objective-based missions and cinematics each week over a 10-week period. It's this content taken in isolation that Ellis has claimed will consist of more content than Halo 3: ODST."
Depends on how you define "content," I guess...
The point is that it's boring. A story-driven campaign can't just re-use the same locations and objectives every single week. That's boring. I know Halo CE re-used environments in its campaign, but it didn't do it every single level and it did use different BSPs, unlike Spartan Ops which literally dumps you in the exact same maps week after week.
It's boring.
The CG series is well done and I like watching new episodes on YouTube, but the levels themselves aren't worth my time. I don't like the disconnect between the CG episodes and the levels either. It's not a focused integrated experience. It's like, "Here's the new cutscene, now go do something completely unrelated to it for five missions."
