A 3 Legged Goat
Nobody cares about anyone else's opinion - be it mine, yours, or a cult of angry star wars nerds - when they are enjoying what they enjoy.

Everyone cares about opinions, that's why we socialize on a forum with strangers.
The thing about Spartan Ops that bugs me so much is that it has the potential to be incredible, but it's so mishandled that, as TheUseless0ne said, it ends up being dull and repetitive.
Just to be clear, I think the CG series is excellent. Yes, the characters are pretty one-dimensional, but the story is interesting enough that I can overlook it. It's the missions themselves that 343i have completely failed to make interesting. Every week, it's the same objective on five of the same seven or eight maps. In-game dialogue amounts to little more than, "Crimson, go do this! Crimson, go do that!"
The whole thing has the potential to be more interesting, but 343i doesn't explore that potential. If we had unique maps every week with more than one type of objective, and if the characters weren't so one-dimensional, and if the missions were more integrated into the story, it could be pretty good. But 343i didn't do any of this, so it's just boring.
