Subject: Does anyone still go to an arcade?

Boltshot = mini shotgun

There isn't one near me, but every year while I'm in Wildwood I make it a goal to visit Gateway 26.
Not really a true arcade, but close.

I never liked arcades that much. I really only went there at friends birthday parties or when I was waiting for my parents to finish shopping at the mall.

That arcade has been closed for close to ten years now.

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

Does Dave n' Busters count? I used to go to arcades as a kid back in the 90s. They were fun but I don't think they would fit well with modern society.
Its pretty much all we have left.

Though, I don't think it counts. True arcades don't really serve food or drinks. Beyond a soda machine, that is. The ONLY reason to go there is to play.

You could go to D&B's with the sole purpose of eating, and be OK.

Octavia is best pony.

There's one relatively near me,but it's entirely composed of money traps (the crane machine and its ilk.).

"Apparently people don't like the truth, but I do like it; I like it because it upsets a lot of people. If you show them enough times that their arguments are bull-blam!-, then maybe just once, one of them will say, 'Oh! Wait a minute I was wrong.' I live for that happening. Rare, I assure you."-Lemmy of Motorhead

Yes, I'm the guy who had the Flood admit to being furries.

There's still nickel arcades in the Chicagoland area with some great old games but yea I really miss the whole arcade experience from growing up. I had one of my birthday parties at an Aladdin's arcade. We played games like Altered Beast and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, good times.

In the dying days of arcades it seemed the only people who went there were kids who played DDR constantly.

You people have just sent my sides into orbit. A bunch of MLG try hards sucking the dick of some supposed pro half the thread hasn't even heard of. Classic.

Been many a year since I had to put my quarter up. Those were some great times. You could either stand in line for your chance at beating the local champ at the fighting game of the day or just chill with some buds playing air hockey.

There's an arcade like right next to my house. Will I go to it? No.

For all questions with answers unknown to you, the proper procedure is to assume the answer is peanut butter.

While that may be true, I'm just going to pretend otherwise.

I don't think I've ever been to an arcade.

No thought required, just spawn and GOOOOOOOOOOO

I have one down the road. Its 80s/monster/rave themed, and its awesome.

I'm going to MAGfest next month, and that place is going to have well over a hundred arcade cabinets probably.

My first arcade experience was Street Fighter II

Don't LOL if you aren't L'inOL.

Halo: Reach
Halo 3
Halo ODST

The nearest arcade is up in Central London, so I would, but I can't.

Dear tomorrow, Find some sensibility, Respond to emotion.
Dear Politician, Define sagacity,
All chances of survival are beginning to diminish.
Comedy is no excuse for our own blasphemies.
Mass media, Mass pessimism, Mass Denial.
My television tells me to panic, but I don't think I'll listen.
The apathetic force us to persevere, with their backwards priorities.

Last time I went to one, it just didn't feel right. It has lost its magic for me.
