Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

That's right.

XBox Live should have voluntary groups that members can join that are set up for player preference. There should be a MLG group, a Casual group, my favorite the Adults Only group, etc...

These groups would be 100% voluntary, and would actually cost a little extra.

There would be a no-preference group that you are automatically enrolled in if you just have a XBL Gold memebership.

This way people will only play with people like themselves. You guys could stop complaining about casuals, kids, or mlg-wannabes ruining your XBL experience.

Its time Microsoft. Make it happen.

I don't see you doing anything to help our country.
Except sitting at home, naked, eating twinkies, rubbing your hands together going "Heh. Target Destroyed. Mission Accomplished." Oh wait. that's not helping.

If we disagree, it's nothing personal, opinions are opinions.
Antagonizing me to build a false sense of worth is so damn cute.

Brighten your day with science.

Dat exploitation.

Dat drop in your population.

To me, that just seems like another way to slow down matchmaking processes by narrowing the pool of potential games you can play in.

Abuse would be reported and the offending members banned. That's pretty easy.

That, or only record the kills you get whilst in your own group.

My problems [with Reach] are basically just full parties, mlg, and people who go out of their way not to get killed.

As a tryhard I'd simply pick the casual category to stomp on people all day.

So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

That would give Gold some value, unlike right now.

Like I said, simple. Don't keep stats from the casuals. Making it worthless, and if you were too much of a problem, report and ban you from the category.

But you dont realy need that for CoD, it's already super easy to get high K/D as it is in that game.

Some casual has a good game, his opponents "omgwtf ima report you". FPS's have lost their appeal simply because its all about stats now. CTF? More like unlimited team deathmatch...

so, how does one exactly become worthy of a ban?
being 'too good' to be a casual player?

So I'm going to get banned for being too good? Sounds like being banned for spawn killing. Wouldn't want to hurt any feelings on a rated-M game, would we?

That was adults only. I still think it should be done. Though this is a different thread altogether.

I'm not saying just an adults only. I am saying completely by player type. If you are a casual, and you elected for the casual only group, you should never see a competitive player in matchmaking at all. You would only play with people who are similar.

That's too easy to exploit. Competitives will go into the casual playlist, and pretend they're casuals all the meanwhile killing everyone, and casuals will go into the skilled competitive playlist thinking they're "pros" when really they suck. You could say "oh, well we can just ban frauds and offenders," but the means through which to tell that are much too subjective to be accurate. You'd be banning people en masse.

That's easy. Just remove stat's from the casual list. Being casual, the players wouldn't care, and it removes the incentive for a MLG-wannabe from going there to boost his stats.
