Were talking about the North African theater. Eisenhower wasn't even part of any decision making when Montgomery beat Rommel at El Alamein. The U.S. hadnt even landed in North Africa yet either.

He beat him after he himself had already been beaten by him once and Montgomery before at El Alemane.

General George S. Patton. I would say Rommel, but Patton beat Rommel.Montgomery only beat him because Eisenhower refused to let Patton advance.
