Technically yes (I'm autistic) although it's only aspergers syndrome so I don't know if it counts as what you mean by autistic.

There was a time when being a weird kid didn't mean a dozen different mental disorder diagnoses.

I have a friend with really mild aspergers. I didn't find out he had it until a year after I first met him, and I was honestly really surprised.

I only have the two. And I showed all the symptoms. Reading online about it I relate easily too.
