Subject: Halo 4 Terminals super-massive black plothole *SPOILERS for terminals*

We work in the dark to serve the light.

So, if the Librarian sealed the Didact within the Cryptum on Requiem prior to the activation of the Halo, then how was the Didact able to activate the Halo Array on the Ark, killing the Librarian on Earth? On top of that, how was the Librarian able to get to Earth, bury the Portal, and destroy her entire fleet within the space of a few days?

Honestly, I'm fine with the rest of the story. It's just this immense plothole that bugs me.

The original flavor and Bornstellar flavor?
Yes, except that the original Didact was killed by the Master Builder, thus effectively making Bornstellar the Didact.

He didn't get executed, he was put in a flood infested system. He survived.

They didn't actually kill him, I think in the second book they send him to a flood infested planet or something like that.

I've read Cryptum, but not Primordium. However, the Halo Wiki makes no reference to the Ur-Didact being alive.

I've read the current novels, excluding Thursday War, and don't recal that ever being mentioned.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

1. There are "two" Didacts.
2. Because super fast Forerunner slipspace.
3. I think the portal on Earth is already partially underground, she just had to get lots of sentinels or whatever to dump tons of dirt on it.

The halo 4/terminal is the Main Didact, we haven't seen born Didact yet.

Pretty sure it was in promordium. Then again I looked it up on Halo Wiki....it said he was abandoned in a flood infested system. Also Ur-didact is in Silentium, the last book.
