6'5", 250 lbs, 4% bodyfat, 9 inch schlong crew, Drive Bugatti to work everyday, 11/10 wife, 9s and 10s for girlfriends, 170 IQ, NFL quarterback, 900 ft yacht, Bench 650 lbs, Have 2000 close friends on Facebook, Math PhD from MIT, MBA from Harvard, Any job I want, Several platinum albums, Awarded Nobel Prize twice, Won several Grammies (not that that's saying much), Estate in PA, penthouse in NYC, villa in Madrid, mansion in Vancouver, Island in Florida, Burned down several churches.

When you grew up your parents could foresee your beta destiny so because they loved you so much that they didn't want you to hurt so they told you all these half-lies about equality and beauty is on the inside and America and this and that and that is what -blam!- you up insecurity wise.

Sooner or later you had to wake up and it hurt more than ever so you unconsciously solidified all those equalitarianism beta ideals and re-affirmed them with a vengeance.

It got to a point where you hate people who are natural alphas because your whole life you have been taught to not compete in something that would hurt you.

When you finally turned 16 and realized Cindy didn't want to go to the ball with you you started to harden inside. But it was your parents that gave you the fuel for your insecurity by trying to invent things about society that weren't there as to protect your wounded lil heart.

Just a theory I have

Meh, I see it as if I think she's beautiful then I'll go for it.
I've had girlfriends that my friends have thought were ugly, but I didn't.

Please stop complaining about the 'death of a loved one' it's my job. They probably deserved it anyways. Here's a warning, if you keep making pentagrams out of the neighbors livestock I will personally come to your house and kill everyone you love. Now leave me alone, I got to get back to work.

Interesting theory.

beauty like most things is a opinion. Your thoughts and the truth that lives inside those thoughts is alot more important than something on the outside someone can judge.

You may go on the rest of your life convinced looks is what we should base our thoughts around. You will probably live a great life aswell, however, your thoughts will always be restricted to a certain point.

No it isn't! This person right here is a prime example of the OP.

Ugly people will forever date ugly people unless other variables like status, power etc are involved

Good looking people will always date good looking people unless other variables like status, power etc are involved

nomsayin?

I would NOT marry someone who is kind or whatever and they're ugly for the same reason a you will never marry a hot girl.

No.

I'd say yes. Beauty isn't everything. I don't judge based completely on beauty, and while I do take it into consideration, it's not something that will change my decisions.
Hell, I'm not good looking. And what some people consider "beautiful" in some people, I despise.

I remember during my Psychology course one of the things we learned that the idea that "beauty in the eye of the beholder" isn't really true, and certain traits and features are considered more attractive, even across different nations. The only one I can remember is that people with more symmetrical faces are seen as more attractive.

Beauty is almost unanimous. Someone like Emma Watson or Mila Kunis will be consolidated beautiful by many people, and it opens a ton of doors. Ugly people have to put a lot of work in to get noticed or get someone to like them.

But what exactly is "ugly"?
It's based around opinions. What some people consider beautiful, others may consider ugly.
Hollywood has scarred the true meaning of "beauty".

Exactly. Humans are wired psychologically to find certain facial features attractive and others not so much. While personality plays a part in overall attractiveness and the longevity of a relationship, it doesn't mean one is not physically attractive.

When a guy claims that a clearly attractive woman is "ugly" he is usually disagreeing for the sake of disagreeing.

It's a bit different for women as they take more into consideration when assessing a man but that's a different topic.

People can't really shy away from the reality of physical attraction. But since it is the 21st century a lot of other variables do play a part. Wealth is important but so is personality.

It's common knowledge that even a decent looking woman can glide by in life on her looks, though. That's reality. Love it or hate it.

Megan Fox is pretty nasty, just sayin'.

<(-_-)> Teh mokey is not amused

Less attractive people are treated differently by everyone, not just their parents. You could say the same about any group however.

I wish I had the actual study with me but basically the gist was, they showed pictures of different people and participants were told to choose the more attractive ones, and the participants pretty much chose the same people pretty consistently even though these involved different population groups across the world. So this isn't even taking into account personality or anything. Just pictures of people.

You know i read that if our babys came out ugly the new cute would be ugly. I don't know if thats true, i already find babys disturbing looking, but it a good example of how our minds work. Why pay so much attention to instincts of what to like based on facial features our mind finds attractive rather than our own thoughts of who that person is and what they stand for.

If you're a zombie and you know it, bite your friends.

The Flood Theory of Deterioration: q(p)=(qi)e^(-p/r)

Where q(p) is the quality of the thread as a function of p posts, (qi) is the inital quality of the first post, p is the amount of posts and r is the e-peen of the original poster.

Makes me happy I'm an attractive fellow. I don't really care what ugly people get told, so I don't think about it.
