Subject: Palestine should not be a state. At least not for a while.

I gaze upon the stars and see the majesty that is the universe.

EGO mos bulla astrum.

There is a huge amount of hate and fear mongering going on in the proposed areas of Palestine. Most people don't seem to realize statehood would solve absolutely nothing. It's not going to stop the fact Palestinians have propagandized everyone into evil genocidal maniacs from the west. Alongside the fact Israel would destroy them and they have proven they would elect paramilitaries to defend themselves.

Providing them recognition as a state would not help anyone.

Please stop complaining about the 'death of a loved one' it's my job. They probably deserved it anyways. Here's a warning, if you keep making pentagrams out of the neighbors livestock I will personally come to your house and kill everyone you love. Now leave me alone, I got to get back to work.
~M.D~

My bad, thought you meant a state of the USA.

That really isn't for you to do anything about. If people vote paramilitaries, people vote paramilitaries. By that thinking, Northern Ireland should have been dissolved as a state when members of Sin Fein were elected.
Democracy can't be withheld because you don't like what the majority thinks

Providing them recognition as a state would not help anyone.

It would stop the illegal settlements.

Nice job considering the point of view of the palestinians.

;)

But, OP. Every country except the US and Israel recognizes Palestine as a state. The reason the U.S and Israel are so butthurt over this is because....well....I cant say since based Recon 54 would ban me :(

Sir, you need to revise your math. Also, the Czechs didn't, because they tend not to like other people making important decisions which affect them...

It totally wouldn't affect the Czechs in any way.

Only 9 countries voted against statehood (Canada, USA, Israel, and several other small countries) with 41 abstentions, IIRC.

No I mean that's part of their reasoning. The world told them "Don't worry, we're doing the right thing here." That's why they're quite mistrustful of all this, but also they're friends with the Israelis. Europe is currently dominated by many multicultural liberal regimes, who are flooding their own nation with hundreds of thousands, even millions of Muslim immigrants, it is no surprise that they side with Palestine.

"Thoughts are the shadows of feelings; always darker, emptier, and simpler."

Israel and Palestine will never find peace, because religion.

I don't care what happens to Palestine as long as Israel remains a country funded by the US.

Egypt should just give the Sinai Peninsula to the Palestinians. A country as tiny as Israel shouldn't have to give up land.

  • 12.03.2012 7:01 PM PDT

Well, the way I look at it...

If Palestine becomes a legitimate state, and continues to attack Israel with rockets, wouldn't that be considered an act of war? That should give a reasonable excuse to end the pathetic organization known as hamas. If the radicals lose popular support with the Palestinian people, there will be peace.

It hasn't been about fundamentalism for years now. It's just a motivation. These two groups simply despise each other for reasons obviously neither understand anymore.

Granting the Palestinians statehood wouldn't help them. Hell most don't want it unless Israel is wiped out and replaced with theirs.

Ah, my mistake. I wasn't aware of the 41.

Those settlements are not illeagle. Israel took that land over in a war known as the six day war. They lost land from it. They cant just have it back when the wars done. Their like little kids who want there money back after loosing in a gamble.

Hmm that's fine.
