Except it's actually a terrible time to live in, second only to the dark ages. Even if Italy was going through a rebirth, people were still dying from disease, poverty, and violence. Also religious persecution.

I find the architecture, the culture, and the people of this timeframe to be very, very interesting. To see firsthand of the happenings of this era, would be amazing.
