Subject: The History Channel: What the Hell happened?

The Internet is an empowerment tool that's agnostic; it doesn't care about race, gender, or age.

What?

Pawn stars and American Pickers are 2 of my favorite shows.

Ancient Aliens is also fun to watch.

The history channel is great.

Small Community, Lots of Fun. We do Halo, Minecraft, and much more.

I like Pawn Stars and American Pickers. They have their documentaries during the day, they still play Modern Marvels, which is also great. If I had had time, I would have watched the Men who Built America. Seemed interesting.

History Channel is still great and I learn a lot of cool new things from Pawn Stars. The men who built America and Mankind are awesome.

The Men Who Built America was awesome.

People called those men evil. Were it not for them, America would not be what it is today.

I have a lot of respect for Vanderbilt, Carnegie and Rockefeller.

Too much crap, not enough actual history.

You will never find legitimate Science on the science channel, you will never find legitimate history on the history channel.

They want views, TV watchers don't want to think.

Pawn Stars is staged as staged can be. Ancient Aliens is pretty interesting though.

Yea, after Pawn Stars received some good ratings, the History channel stopped being history. Shows like American Pickers, Cajun Pawnstars, American Restoration, Invention USA, Top Shot, Ice Road Truckers, and the car restoration show really take away from the actual history aspect that I cam to enjoy.

We need more shows like WWII/Vietnam in HD. I thought those were interesting to watch, and they suited the History channel perfectly.

Some don't, but since I find actual interest in historical matters, I wouldn't mind a legitimate documentary every now and then to break up the mind-numbing crap that seems to be running every time I check what's on there.
