I am a pharmaceutical scientist. I received my Masters degree in Pharmaceutics from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in 2010, after working as a Pharmacist for 4 years. I currently work in King of Prussia, PA, and focus on the analytical chemistry of small molecule APIs. My clients include some of the most well known big pharma companies in the world.

I still see constant hatred for Tim Tebow, even though he doesn't play. People seem to be angry he is in the NFL at all. While I may agree with the sentiment that his sermons given in the media, and his praying on the field get old quick, I still think this hate is misguided. No one should question Tim Tebow's ability in a world where Christian Ponder is a starting QB. You think Tebow is bad? Just watch Ponder, I dare you. Minnesota fans would kill for a Tim Tebow. Anyone that can successfully throw a ball ten yards at least a third of the time.
So don't hate on Tebow, or Sanchez. It could always be worse, you could have Cristian Ponder starting for you. A quarterback that teams don't even have to bother with pass coverage, and can focus completely on Adrian Peterson, who will still put up 200 yards. With any other quarterback in the NFL, Peterson wins a ring. Ponder is the only one bad enough to make AP a losing player.Christian Ponder is a lot better than Tebow. I can't even believe you tried to say he's worse considering the numbers he has managed to put up this year. He has more TD's and fewer picks than last year, and the Vikings are a run-first offensive team.
Tebow, on the other hand, has consistently sucked. You could make the argument that the Broncos were the only team that could make Tebow a winning player, since he played horrible in almost all the games he appeared in last year. He is taking up a roster spot for someone easily more deserving, and his ceiling is lower than where Ponder is now.
Ponder has 14 TD's and over 2,300 yards, is without Harvin, and you're trying to say that's worse than having Tebow?? Child, please.
Remember: Out of college, Tebow couldn't even take a 3-step drop....the most basic of QB techniques. Tim Tebow needed to be trained to take a 3-step drop. He can't read defenses when he's not in the shotgun. He's only good in the spread offense. There might be an offense out there that would work for him, but it's not in the NFL. Tim Tebow could be a successful Arena League QB based on what he is capable of.
