Hi guys, this stat sheet on Tebow's comeback & game-winning drives should help you with your argument.

You're welcome.

Hey, I was just at that site. Except I was busy looking at stats for full games, not fractions of games.

7-4 with a playoff win. After the SAME team went 1-4 before he became the starter.

Terrific, pats on the back to those actually contributed to that (not Tebow).

Decent player, could be a starter =/= good quarterback.

What qualifies as a "good QB" to you? List some.

How can you hate on Ponder?

I'd take Ponder over Tebow in a second and Im a huge Tebow fan.

Ponder has the potential to be good. Its a shame Percy is as fragile as glass and his other recievers blow.

Ponder hasn't even come close to throwing a good ball to an open receiver in weeks. If they drop it, that is on them, but it is pretty obvious Ponder has no ability to get it to them in the first place. I could give him a break if he showed potential, but he has done nothing aside from getting progressively worse since his one quality game against San Fran.

What is he suppose to do with the 4th string Wideouts around him?

Ponder has potential. Its his second year. His TD-INT ratio isnt bad. Hes had 2 bad games. One at lambeau. and one aganist the great bears D.

Hes 6-6 this year with that garbage team....

Garbage team? AP is one of the greatest running backs to ever play. His numbers over the last 5 years are put up without any supporting passing game or offensive threats. That is a credit to him and the offensive line. Any competent quarterback should be having a field day with everyone stacked on AP. We've had one of the best pass rushes for years, and the secondary is actually good this year. The only garbage on the Vikings is the QB and receiver core.

The only Reason they are 6-6 is because everyone besides Ponder has been doing so well that we can win games with 100 yards of passing.

Yes AP is great. Hes one of the top 2 RBs in the league. That doesnt make team team amazing because you have one good player.

hey, I love Shady McCoy on my eagles. But were still 3-9. Our team still sucks.

Just be Happy you have a competent QB and a 6-6 record.

Doc: "i'm a pacifist"
Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"
Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"
Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"

I really like the mans work ethic, but he was never going to be a successful NFL quaterback. His physicality can allow him to move to another position easily. A lot of the hate around him has to do with his religious beliefs, which doesn't shock me in today's world.

Ah, I see, you don't actually have to watch Ponder, or the Vikings play. No wonder you think Ponder is good.

I do watch them. I'm not a Vikings fan or anything, but I still watch the games.

Did I say Ponder was good? No, I said he has the POTENTIAL to be good. Which he does.

Hes a top 20 QB.

Good for them. It'll serve them well when they're 45 and they have misshapen heads and dementia.

LOL such a Tebow hater.

I agree that Rivers is better than Tebow. But Rivers has also been a starter for 5 years.

Put Tebow in the same situation as Rivers, Tebow would have more wins.

Rivers has ALWAYS been an underachiever.

He hits the other team's receivers almost as often as his own.

I do watch Ponder play. He is better than Tebow. There is no debate. Tebow needed to be taught how to take a 3 step drop before entering the draft. That's all you need to know. I could care less what the media says about the Jets...if Tebow was good enough to start, he would be doing so. Mark Sanchez would start for 0 other teams in this league right now and Tebow is the backup to him. He's best suited for a modest career in the Arena League, where he can stand in the shotgun and play the spread all year long.

I hope you're not waiting for Tebow to get five starter years under his belt.

No he wouldn't. Because Rivers completes his passes. Tebow doesn't.

It's all about exposure level. I'm sure a fair few would be shocked if they found out everything their favorite athletes were into, some do a much better job of keeping their interests low profile.

That's not true at all. Norv Turner. /argument

Oh, you're drunk if you think Tebow is more reliable than Foles.

No he wouldn't. Because Rivers completes his passes. Tebow doesn't.

But Rivers is only a decent QB, top 10 at best. If that qualifies as good for you then alright. Consider as well how long Rivers has been playing, and the coaching he's recieved compared to Tebow. It's a poor comparison.

Halo3Planet, the place for all things Halo 3..

Need help finding skulls, make sure to go here.

2nd best QBR in the fourth quarter last year. Sure, he doesn't fit into the conventional paradigm of being a quarterback in the NFL. By those standards (which are entirely passing-based), he's not a good quarterback. But look at the running plays he made. Look at the plays he made against the Dolphins and the Jets last year. His defense wasn't that good. His offense wasn't that good. Did everyone forget that they beat Pittsburgh in a playoff game?
