Here is a handy-dandy link regarding to what I'm talking about. Basically, over the last week I've been getting this screen every time I've attempted to sign out.

Has this been noted before?

Thanks, l iam117 l.

Am I special?! Well it's been happening for quite some time now; so it's not a one-off case.

Skillet was here and referred to himself in the third person.

I automatically get signed out when I close the window. I've never heard of that before. The only times I ever get error messages is when a post time-out error occurs. But those are few and far between. Albeit annoying.

You have it set so it automatically signs you in, don't you? What happens is that you sign out, and it automatically signs you right back it. It happened to me about a year ago, I had to go the .net website and sign out there and turn that feature off.

Oh, Well thats because MSN uses passport as well. Bungie doesn't have its own log in, it redirects you to the Passport page, then back to bungie where you now have access to your account. You don't log into Bungie, you log into Passport, same with hotmail. So when you try to log out of passport in one location while still using it in another, it wont log you out. Get it?

Technically you log into Windows Live ID - which used to be called Passport like 2 versions ago. Later this summer, you'll see the word Passport disappear from the site and replaced with the Live ID naming.

Anyway, yes, we know about the log out issue - "Bug 4327 : Users can experience ASP errors on signout." However, we have been unable to reproduce this issue consistently. It would be very helpful if you sent information to bnetbugs@microsoft.com about this issue. I suggest your login, web browser, Passport (Live ID) settings, like whether you're saving your password, whether you have your passport linked to your Windows login, stuff like that. Any detail is helpful. That way, we can figure out what is causing the issue.

Does that mean you'll be implementing InfoCard (Or Cardspace, what ever the kids are calling it nowadays) into the site, if possible?

A log out error happned to me once. Every time I returned to Bungie.net, it asked me for my email and password, and would just freeze up on me. I have never wanted to log out since then.
