Subject: What's the best "Poor Food?"

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

So, I was just on another site and saw this thread about Poor People Food. It made me have a bit of nostalgia, since I remembered having most, if not all of the above regularly. I showed the thread to my wife, and she was grossed out a little. It just made me hungry.

Here is a list, though it is by no means comprehensive. I wear the fact that I used to eat most of these as a badge of pride.

So, feel free to vote above, or add your suggestions below.

What exactly do you mean by poor food OP like do you mean in terms of ease to make or price?

I rule the midnight air, the destroyer, die by my hand, I am Creeping Death.

What's instant rice?

I always got the 5lb bags. They were usually around like 6$.

Eggs, rice, and black beans. The breakfast of champions.

From the list, I'd say either instant ramen or Spaghetti-O's.

Bit of both.

My mom was a single mom who worked two shifts. That meant it had to be cheap, and pretty easy to make.

Skuldier? Never heard of him...

Lol, I ate a ketchup sandwich one time.

Hot Dogs, although I don't consider it poor people food. It's a staple of local fast food chains here in Chicago, there's nothing like a Chicago style hot dog. It is cheap to buy a package of good hot dogs and buns at the grocery store though.

If you mean Doritos, get out. If you mean the 47 pound bag of the weird yellow ones that started out stale and got worse from there, you may stay.

I lived on oatmeal for several months while I was in school.

Well in terms of price typically you can make stuff from scratch that will cost about the same price if not cheaper as premade stuff. Though looking at your list you do list a bit of both so really I guess it is more of a which of those cheap things did you like the best question right?

no its legit, i used coordinates, set weapon timers the works.

The chicken flavor alone for Ramen has approx. 910 grams of salt.

Ramen is so bad for you it's not even funny.

RIP Logan ~B.B.

Mac N Cheese. Beef flavored Ramen was OK too. Spaghetti-Os always get me all nostalgic of childhood, but always end up disappointing.

I'm pretty sure the flavor packet doesn't weigh ~1kg (~2lb).
