If there's one thing Disney don't want to do after taking on the legacy of 'Star Wars' from LucasFilm it's anger the sci-fi movies' notoriously faithful fanbase, but apparently they've already managed it as the famous characters appeared in an episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edititon, aired on ABC, owned of course by Disney.

Deadline.com quotes a fan of the film series as emailing in to say: "I just saw the opening two minutes and they had Darth Vader and his Storm Troopers helping build a new house! This is disgusting and it's exactly what people were afraid of with Disney buying 'Star Wars'. They are ruining the franchise by using it for trivial bulls**t. Please write about this. It's outrageous and it's totally wrong."

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

Please allow me to introduce Myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man's soul and faith

How can it get any more ruined than what Lucas himself did with the remastered editions and the prequels?

You can't kill something twice. Its already dead.

This world wants to drag you down... And the weight, that guilt they want to hang around your neck, you don’t have to carry it one more step. You think they won’t let you rest, but it’s not up to them. It never was.

Country: United States.
State: Pennsylvania.
County: Warren.
I graduated from high school on June-11-2011. I'm 19 right now. I'm turning 20 in December. I like playing video games, and board games. I like reading Sci-Fi, and World War II novels, and what not.

"There is nothing better in the world than being better at a video game than someone else....oh wait"

I don't see what the big deal about this is. It's no different than the 501st Rose Day Parade or this.

This is the saddest and stupidest thing I've read yet, I actually died inside if this is really what the Star Wars fanbase has become.

STOP ASSAULT 2012

Who is Assault? Assault is a mod in the Bungie.net brony group. And what started out with good intentions, viciously spiraled down into a power hungry tyrant locking thread after thread after thread to quell all opposition to his tyrannical rule. Did I mention he is a tyrant?

To donate to the STOP ASSAULT 2012 movement, message me with your credit card info, full name, social security, full adress, and mothers maiden name.

This is beyond stupid. The stormtroopers/etc who showed up were part of the 501st. For those of you who don't know, the 501st is a legion of fans who dress up, and go to charities and march for these charities. They've been doing this for many years, before Lucas even decided to make 501st part of canon. Disney has nothing to do with which charities the 501st works for, this is merely a coincidence.

And its utterly stupid to think that star wars is in any way diminished by a couple characters working towards a good cause. It can't be believed by a thinking person.

I acknowledge my user name is stupid. However, I promise I'm not.

Disclaimer: The latter is a lie.

Star Wars community are far too srs.

I don't see what's so bad about it. I mean, if 343 did this with Master Chief and some Spartan IV's I would think that it's pretty funny/cool.

This. So much this.

Even if it were organized by Disney, it would not be a bad thing.

Don't worry, kids. It's not time to panic yet. We need to wait and see how Disney handles the canon.

Hell, even Kinect Star Wars didn't bother me that much. Sure, it was terrible, but it wasn't canon, so who cares? Does nobody remember the Holiday Special?

Yes, this is exactly what I worried about. Using Darth Vader to build a house.

They really are a great organization. My dad is in it and I;m soon to be a member myself. I really love their work for children's hospitals.
