"They don't call him Flopper for nothing"-AquaBlader

I don't see why everybody gets mad over the idea of someone not being a hardcore xxlegitmlgxxgamer. It's really stupid and pointless to get at mad at a video game, let alone a certain type of gamer. It accomplishes nothing and if anything you are butthurt.

Also: Who cares if someone has a different opinion on a video game then you. It absolutely pointless.

Casuals will mindlessly buy any game that comes out if it has huge name recognition, regardless of quality (e.g. COD, Sports games)

Well then, you somehow found my signature, nice job, so time for your prize.............FLOODIANS! ATTACK! Also, those socks do NOT make you look handsome.

Not really, they just play what their friends play.

Dear tomorrow, Find some sensibility, Respond to emotion.
Dear Politician, Define sagacity,
All chances of survival are beginning to diminish.
Comedy is no excuse for our own blasphemies.
Mass media, Mass pessimism, Mass Denial.
My television tells me to panic, but I don't think I'll listen.
The apathetic force us to persevere, with their backwards priorities.

People have the right to be entertained by any video game they choose in any way.

Because most developers aim to please the casuals which results in a poorly made game.

Oh look, someone doesn't know what casual means!

From what I can tell every single halo game that has come out since Halo one has been more and more for the casual. According the the forum goers of course. I can only imagine how casual Halo 5 will be. It probably wont even have guns.

Which are likely going to be casuals

Feel free to send me messages, please be willing to wait 6-8 years for a reply.

1-7 hours if you at least tried to make it readable.

Immediately if you are Yax, Telec, or legendary.

Never if you are mythic, you guys smell funny.

People need a scapegoat to blame for the state of the industry and its current direction.

They don't agree with it, so they create a scapegoat and blame them for every little problem.

And considering the average hardcore gamer does not even have an understanding of what makes a casual gamer,or a casual game, they just come across as idiots.

I don't hate casuals. I hate games that are entirely catered to casuals.

A good game should have the depth and detail required to keep a seasoned gamer interested, but should be warm and inviting enough to new players and encourage them to invest themselves into the game. Too many games these days skimp on the former and invest in the latter, as the latter creates sales, but the former creates longevity, which I feel should be just as important.

Opinions don't bother me BUT when they dictate the movement of a hugely popular game series *halo* they more often than not drive it into the ground.

The person who has played it 1000 hours will know more bugs, better solutions, what works what doesn't

compared to the

10 hour casual who hates everything because he won't put the time in.

Because most games these days are made easier to cater to the casual audicence. All 343 talked about was "reducing the learning curve" and that stupidity left us with Call of Halo

What? How much difficulty can have aiming a controller and pushing a trigger to begin with?
