Subject: Man dies on tracks

How the hell do you not help? Even if you can't save the person at least try to. People would rather get a few pictures or a video on Youtube then save a life. Pisses me off.

Covan was here, December 20th.

Come back later, after he's out of Parris Island.

People would rather turn a blind eye, rather than realize the other major problems that are facing this world.

Looks like he was on the Wrong side of the tracks :P

Better than the guy who robbed a guy who fell onto tracks, though that dude survived the accident (though was in critical condition if memory serves).

These casuals piss me off too, remember the time when us competitive gamers would help a BK like him?

That is one of the biggest problems with our soceity today. Less and less people are willing to help while more and more want something awesome for their YouTube and Facebook accounts.

How about we stay away from train tracks. That'd be a good idea.

Is the train okay?

Train is more important than the man's life?

But these people looking for fame will have a much better image if they tried to help. How do you just watch someone die?

no its legit, i used coordinates, set weapon timers the works.

I would have tried to help if I was there, but I wasn't so I don't really care.

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

Please allow me to introduce Myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man's soul and faith

It doesn't look like there was time to help him. I could have misread, and misheard that, but it seems that only a few seconds went by between the shove and the hit.

You want to know why?

Because you might just get yourself killed there that's why. Someone just pushed him on the tracks, who says you won't be next?

Discarding the argument above, even if you succeed in rescuing such a person, chances are high you will be either arrested or sued by anyone, perhaps even the victim himself, for whatever reason they see fit. Reasons might include harassement, public disturbance and so on. Society these days does NOT encourage heroic behaviour.

The same way we've been watching the hundreds of aid workers and private contractors get killed over in the middle east.

I don't know how they can do it, man.

Thinking really hard about the subject, I'd honestly have to say that I'd help the guy.

I guess it's true what they say - that New Yorkers are mean.

Someone pushes your son onto the tracks, you go after him.

Why shouldn't you try to help this man when he's been caught up in this situation?

That man was somebody's brother, uncle, dad, son, etc.

There shouldn't be anything 'heroic' about it - it should be something that you expect from a person.

Maybe he couldn't be saved but nobody even tried.

I don't know what to think. I'm gonna avoid all train tracks

Due to endangering themselves, maybe? Too much risk to join the victim?

Also I'm glad the train is still operational. What a relief!

You look on the news and see a video of your brother being pushed onto a train track.

You start speaking aloud to yourself, "Why won't somebody help him?"

Then it gets too late, and your brother dies a horrible death.

This is the reality of the situation.

It's New York so there are plenty of operational trains.
