I rarely had a problem with boosters, despite the fact that I was working in lone Wolves and no other playlist. But during my time in Lone Wolves I almost never got anyone Pming about selling their 50, or any boosting problem. There was the occasional achievement boosting back in the lower ranks but those died out immediately when you hit 30 and up.

Although I do understand your incentive to have a 1-50 ranking system I disagree due to my many memories of not being able to play team doubles alone thanks to boosters, getting constant messages after every game selling 50's and getting host booted.

I would have a clan system.
I'd do away with all the COD elements.
Have a 1-50.
Balance the weapons and build better maps

Ordinance: gone
Parmethean vision: with the dinosaurs
The other armor abilities: scattered across the map like power weapons
BR (if anything like the thing in H2/3): makes the dodo look lively
DMR: massive nerf so that a close range it does less damage then at long range, and no bleed through
AR: sound buff
Mantis: nerf, probably just have the mgs, and no stomp ability
No instant respawns
Tinker with the dynamic spawning so it's not spawn on the edge of the map
Have a forge WORLD with a variety of places, like snow area, desert area or just combined sandbox and forge world
Have a vote every month to see what old map should come back unil there is none left
Have a firefight mode and spartan ops mode, even if it's just a copy past of ODST firefight
And port halo 3's theater system and file share system, but working on there website
And no forcing people to pick up the flag and not having them be able to drop it until death or score

That's all I can think of for now

Classic Halo. 1-50 ranking system, and of course Social playlists. Halo 3's ranking system. Widened the skill gap at least double Halo 4's. Removed AAs, Ordnance, bloom, random spread, and sprint altogether. Designed FAR better maps. Mostly symmetrical ones, as asymmetrical maps are usually bad. Removed the DMR, Light Rifle, Boltshot, Incineration Cannon, Damage Boost, and power weapon drops on the map. Basically, Halo 2 evolved, without game-breaking glitches and bullet magnetism.

For me personally, there is nothing they could have done. I believe that the Halo series has gotten stale and there is just not much they can change to make it different and unique again.

Hmm, made the BR strong enough so it took only one bullet from the 5th 'pull' to kill.

I think that would balance them out really well. well, speaking against the DMR.

NO jetpack. NO Active Camo. But leave it as ordanance over over shield sometimes. rarely.

uhh nerf only the range on the boltshot. A little bit on shotgun. dont have team shot effect on the stopping power, make the BR have more stopping power DMR having less. The Carbine the most. take OUT the flinch system. go back to the old.

Have moar Didact in game. At least a little more backstory. Not him in a big ball so much.

Uhhh, that's it.

I would've made it so you couldn't edit your load-outs.
More Power weapons on the map.
Make the power weapons not as strong.
Make vehicles more prevalent.
I really can't make an educated change to AAs.
Not take out customs and forge world
and rework the story

What would you have done differently?

I would have gotten ride of the typical Halo styled levels and increased the player cap to 32. I would have made this game a Halo version of Star Wars Battlefront 2 that has maps on the scale of Battlefield 3.

When you look at the stuff that's in the lore. You can tell it's supposed to be played on a larger scaled game. Right now we're not getting the full "Halo" experiences because of the map size and player count. These pissant campaign levels get old very fast. There's no reason why we can't have anything on a larger scale. It's the same thing with BTB and the player cap.

I keep saying this, but to me the only way Halo can be exciting again. Is by turning it into a Halo version of Star Wars Battlefront 2.

Normal multiplayer would feature equal starting grounds, weapon pick-ups on maps and no daft kill-replays. A special playlist section would be designated for modern, class-based multiplayer so as not to completely abandon the already established fans of it from Reach. They would have:

Squad Loadouts - Custom class 6v6 featuring ordnance with slayer and objective
FFA Loadouts - Custom class 8 player FFA featuring ordnance with slayer and objective

Veto system brought in so we could have variety for a freaking change,

Other standard playlists would include the classics.

- Team Slayer 4v4
- Rumble Pit 8 FFA (slayer and objective!)
- Team Objective 4v4 (KOTH, Oddball, Team Regicide, Territories etc.)
- Infection 13 FFA (I would have made it like the old days)
- Hardcore Slayer 4v4 (strict settings, BR, low health etc.)
- Team Duos 2v2v2v2 (slayer and objective)
- Big Team Battle 8v8 (slayer, CTF, assault etc.)
- Carnage Central 4v4 (or 5v5) designed to include community maps for pure fun. Race gametypes, explosive fun and just carnage filled mayhem. Updated frequently with community faves.

I could sit here all day doing this.

Pretty much everything this guy said, plus invasion.
