Can anyone explain 'Boxer' to me? I have inferred that it is some sort of controller configuration but not sure of specifics.

Thanks,

I always play with the boxer setting. Its for people who like to melee attack frequently. I am a little scared however because I dont think I will be able to have boxer setting in halo 2 as well as Duel Wield easily.

Oh yeah and in explanation to what boxer setting is, it changes the left trigger with b button.

I melee all the time and i dont need it. Plus I need to side step while im zoomed a lot more than I need to when I melee. i guess since the crouch is useless one toggle could be zoom and the other melee, that sounds optimal.

I thought it changed the right toggle button to melee??

The setting which changes right toggle to melee is called Green thumb,... I dont really like that setting boxer is much more effective. If you melee a lot try out the boxer setting. Definatly if you throw punches more than you throw nades then you will like it.
