Subject: Ewan McGregor wants in on episode 7. *QUOTE*

"You are the last of your kind: bred for combat, built for war. You're the master of any weapon, pilot of any vehicle, and fear no enemy"

Ewan McGregor, the man behind Obi-Wan Kinobi in episodes 1-3, is completely open and wants his character re-casted as Obi-Wan Kinobi, so he says in an interview with Naomi Watts. He hypotesizes about the Life Force.

Details here.

Nah. They need to cast Samuel L. Jackson as Obi-Wan.

Just remember that no matter how terrible you feel, or how much you want to let go, there are people who care about you and love you.

How in the world would that work...

He died when Darth Vader cut him in half with a lightsaber. I think that's quite an apparent reason...

Agreed, the prequels might be horrible, but there were some great gems in there.

This isn't that far fetched.

Lucas retconned old Vader with New Anakin. Mcgregor would simply play Obi-Wan's Force Ghost if he ever makes an appearance.

You know what I mean- he just stood there. He didn't go down fighting or anything-

just a "Heyyy there!! K? Bye!!" look to luke and the slash.

What purpose did that serve other than to end that character's story.

same thing that happened with palpatine. In the expanded universe, palpatine returned and sidious reborn, where he built an even bigger super weapon and started causing problems again.

He went to die in the first place, and he could do more for Luke in death than life.

I love the prequels except for the pod race, jar jar, and the romance.

Inappropriate. Went a little to far with the butt hole tearing.

He wanted to die and become one with the force because for some odd reason you are more useful being dead then being alive in star wars.

It show's that Ben was in full control of his death, and wasn't truly defeated by Vader. He gave himself to the force which is a Jedi's ultimate goal.

You are notorious for having terrible, terrible opinions about everything though. The pod race sequence is one of the only gems of Episode 1, though the entire premise for why they had to gamble on it is laughably retarded. Episode I is a mediocre movie that can be enjoyable now in small doses. Episode II is an abomination in every way and Episode III was a decent surprise.

Trying to objectify opinions is retarded. I like them - as well as all the other star wars films - and nothing you or anyone says is going to change my mind.

Have you ever seen these? Your opinion on them is pretty -objectively- bad given how calculably bad the prequels are.

If you were any further up your high horse's ass I'd accuse you of bestiality.

Nobody cares about anyone else's opinion - be it mine, yours, or a cult of angry star wars nerds - when they are enjoying what they enjoy.

"If you strike me down I will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine."

He became one with the Force, infinite wisdom, and the immortal life that goes along with it. He could then help Luke on his further journies.
