If I could have anything in the world right now, it would be a robot maid to bring me food who isn't afraid of a bit of intimacy. But if I could have just one more thing, it would be for people to stop responding with some statement about their faith in humanity.
Stop. You are not the last bulb shining with futility at the darkness that is evil, you are not the zenith of good that you're trying to make yourself out to be. You're a pretentious bellend trying to look good on the internet by repeating a phrase that is staler than week-old spunk crusted onto a sock.
Not all people are good. Not all people are bad. People are just that: people. Good and evil is not a black and white that you either are or aren't and the world just happens to be leaning on the side of dickishness. You are reading one particular story about a person who you perceive as particularly good/bad. And when you consider that the media mostly covers tragedy because that gets them the most views/hits, basing your "faith in humanity" on what they report is a bit like sticking your head in a septic tank and being disappointed that it smells like -blam!-. Even your personal anecdotes aren't meaningful. You are a single person out of the billions living on a pretty blue marble that is Earth. Your observations are just one drop of piss in the relatively balanced ocean.
If you disagree, leave your incorrect opinion below and attempt to justify why you're okay with the latest buzzword (buzzphrase?) to spread across the internet like a particularly nasty rash after a night with a Filipino hooker.
