If I could have anything in the world right now, it would be a robot maid to bring me food who isn't afraid of a bit of intimacy. But if I could have just one more thing, it would be for people to stop responding with some statement about their faith in humanity.

Stop. You are not the last bulb shining with futility at the darkness that is evil, you are not the zenith of good that you're trying to make yourself out to be. You're a pretentious bellend trying to look good on the internet by repeating a phrase that is staler than week-old spunk crusted onto a sock.

Not all people are good. Not all people are bad. People are just that: people. Good and evil is not a black and white that you either are or aren't and the world just happens to be leaning on the side of dickishness. You are reading one particular story about a person who you perceive as particularly good/bad. And when you consider that the media mostly covers tragedy because that gets them the most views/hits, basing your "faith in humanity" on what they report is a bit like sticking your head in a septic tank and being disappointed that it smells like -blam!-. Even your personal anecdotes aren't meaningful. You are a single person out of the billions living on a pretty blue marble that is Earth. Your observations are just one drop of piss in the relatively balanced ocean.

If you disagree, leave your incorrect opinion below and attempt to justify why you're okay with the latest buzzword (buzzphrase?) to spread across the internet like a particularly nasty rash after a night with a Filipino hooker.

Inappropriate. Went a little to far with the butt hole tearing.

Because you asked so kindly, OP, I will acquiesce.

Yup.

Why would someone touch a Filipino hooker?

Anyway, I've never used the phrase.

I have no faith in humanity.

I hate people. More people, more problems.

This thread made me lose my faith in humanity

Faith in humanity just dropped again.

And this? Not funny. It's one thing to make a pun relevant to the subject, but doing exactly what the OP says he hates is the internet equivalent of holding your finger an inch away from someone's face and screaming "I'M NOT TOUCHING YOU".

Faith in humanity continues to go down.

Opinions can't be correct or incorrect, that's why they are opinions.

Faith in humanity -1.

You helped restore 2% of my faith in humanity.

So now I'm sitting at 6% faith in humanity.

Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lube.

Is it possible to have my faith in humanity below zero, after reading this thread?

  • 12.04.2012 5:57 PM PDT

The entire concept of faith is idiotic in the first place.

But self serving bull-blam!- is how we function. You can't take that away from people. Then they would have to actually think about what they are saying, instead of regurgitating a stupid meme. Do you know the consequences this might cause? DO YOU???

Yeah....lets not get this locked. It'll be soon before someone screams "DARWINISM SUCKS", or "CHRISTIANS ARE DUMBD!"

For the first time ever, I gave my PC a standing ovation.

Good job, OP.

I have faith in the few people I know and care about. Everything else is dependent on first impression and experience thereafter.

opinions are like ass cracks, everyone has one, except me im perfect and only use facts except that doesnt make sense since facts are determined by humans and even with our proof created by humans we will never truly know how something works so that makes it a opinion except me thinking this is a opinion as well so does it even matter IF WE HAVE NO FACTS
