Easy classes, low standards and lots of high school kids.

easy "A" classes, most teachers don't give a dang, but a good way to get decent grades on your transcript.

Pretty much. Think of it as high school 2.0 (or even easier if you took honors/AP courses in high school).

I had very high grades in HS. Still chose community college. Now I am in one of the better UCs here in CA.

Community college was the best two years of my life. The haters out there are ignorant.

I'm not sure if you're biased or downright lying but I heard mostly that CC professors are a lot more caring compared to University professors. Since CC classes are a lot smaller, it is easier to be recognized and stuff like that.

Lol elitism.

"There's a very fine line between not listening, and not caring. I'd like to think that I walk that line every day."

The community college attend doesn't have many fresh-out-of-high-school people, as far as I've seen. Although it's difficult to determine grade level by appearance, I'd say it's definitely a minority.

My English instructor from last semester taught at a couple universities, and told us she much preferred teaching at a community college.

I liked community college.

I only had one instructor who didn't care. The rest all seemed genuinely concerned in my education.

Depends entirely on where you live. In California, we have fantastic community colleges. I took a few classes at them a long time ago, and I loved the teachers there.

Depends on the person, obviously, but in my experience, at least, the quality of professors/teaching is a lot lower compared to an accredited school/university. I knocked out a few courses at the local CC while I was home for summer during my first two years of college, and the courses were laughably easier than anything I took in high school.

Of course, this all depends on where you live (as mentioned above).

I went to SJDC in Stockton. Great community college. I had a lot of great instructors there.

The only bad thing was it being in Stockton.

Did you know that 93% of all statistics on the internet are made up on the spot, and that 68% of readers believe them?

It is well worth it if you don't know what you're going to do yet. You can get transferable credits for much less than a university, smaller class sizes mean a more personal and valuable education, and of course it's much less money.

I can't speak for all but the professors I had were great and extremely intelligent, thorough, available and personable. They weren't adjuncts or substitutes, they were professors, who taught at very prestigious institutions, some even Ivy League schools.

Thus, they preferred us over the "privileged kids who's parents paid for their education and show up to sleep, if showing up at all cuz they're always hungover from partying." Their words, not mine. Nevertheless, it's a good step in the right direction.

Glory and fame, blood is our name!
Souls full of thunder, hearts of steel!
Killers of men, a warrior's friend!
Sworn to avenge our fallen brothers!
Sons of the gods, today we shall die.
Open Valhalla's door!
Let the battle begin, with swords in the wind! Hail Gods of War!

We often use college and university interchangeably, though they are two different things. A community college is not a university and typically doesn't offer a four year degree (Bachelors), but instead will offer a two year degree (Associates), or can be used to transfer credits to a university. Universities offer four year degrees (and beyond), and tuition is more expensive than a CC; because of this, many people go to a CC for two years, then transfer to a university to finish up their degree.
