^^^^^^
you said halo universe.
covy cso class owne enterprise by being like 20 something kilometers long
Pretty much any but the first Enterprise could solo any Covenant ship and not take ANY damage.

oh god you must have proof
Just take a look at the shields, engines and armament of the ships.

The smallest Federation ship has shields that are impenetrable by the heaviest Covenant weapon. Their navigation shields regularly defend the ship from MAC like rounds while they are at warp speed.

But, anyways, we are talking about the Reapers.

so, you're telling me that the energy projector of a covenant ship could easily be tanks by any ship?
the energy could, technically life wipe a planet by just firing it in atmosphere

Federation ships can burn of a planets atmosphere in on shot...

But in terms of fighting the reapers, when would that be appropriate? If there are husks everywhere on key homeworlds, would the starfleet really consider sacrificing their seat of power just to get the husks running around?

I'm going to go with the federation, seeing as how the Reapers are fairly weak when compared to most sci-fi universes.
The Federation of Planets is actually over powered when compared to most Sci-Fi franchises. They could take on the Halo Universe, and not really break a sweat.

Outside of population, they're really not that overpowered.

Given an equal population I'm pretty sure that the UNSC could take them. I mean, the maximum power of weapons on the Enterprise-D is 3.6GW for the main guns and 64 Megatons for the torpedoes. I'm pretty sure ship-to-ship weapons far surpass that on UNSC vessels.

Plus, there's no notable ground military technology in the Federation to my knowledge. The UNSC has got that covered.

While the UNSC could probably hold their own for a while on the ground thanks to tanks and mechs and such; it wouldn't last long. The Federation do have armored cars that fire the equivalent of a Revenent shot pretty much. They also have shuttlecraft armed with phasers and torpedoes.

Imagine a warthog going against an incredibly maneuverable spacecraft with weaponry that would instantly vaporize it. Covie weapons aren't much compared to that. Air support aside Federation Marines and Starfleet personnel are pretty well trained groups themselves.

Phaser rifles would mop up any heard of husks...

or any other reaper ground unit...

Better yet, release the klingon warriors to fight husks... I'd pay to see klingons in a zombie survival situation.

Sorry, Space marines win.

If we can't win, neither can you
