Subject: Sexism in language

While I wouldn't call that sexism, it is retarded.

I like Romance languages because everything you say has a gender, unlike English.

Yup.

I don't care about sexism beyond women being able to vote and being allowed to work.

Hers?

That's just a form of "her". "His" is a word completely independent of "him".

Because hims just sounds retarded.

Why don't we give females a word in lieu of "her's", then?

You seem to be the one with the problem here, so I'd say it's the burden of a new word falls on you.

I don't see any problem here, other than the one you seem to be making for yourself.

Though the morrow may be barren of promises, nothing shall forstall my return.

Isn't it also sexist to try and say man has more advantages in such an area where there are truly no true advantages to be found? Which basically means is an attack to make "man" feel bad to promote a sense of superiority over said "man"?

Not superiority; equality.

Just because you have 1 less word as a female doesn't mean man is better than woman. There will never be a true "equality" between man and woman because there are some things that men will do better than women generally speaking and vice versa. Speaking in a sense that we are both equally important and recognizing that is more equal than fighting over words because "guys have more". You may have less but yours promotes the exact same meaning which provides the same end result as we do (implying you are a female).

But if there are true advantages to be found?

I make a living of selling my body, and I don't mean sex.

Female?

Well if you are pointing out advantages that actually exist, then it isn't sexist and is simply observation. Sometimes certain advantages should not be changed anyways while others should however.
