Subject: Where are the Rocket Launchers in H4?

I rather enjoy the fact that people no longer spend all of their time camping the power weapon spawns or betraying the poor teammate who gets the sniper first.
So instead of simply banning players who betray their team mates too much, we should eliminate map control.

Okay.
Map control is still important. People still try to hold advantageous positions so they can use the environment to aid them. Choke points, high ground, vehicles, etc.

People camping at their bases or hiding behind rocks and then rushing the power weapons when they see them spawn isn't map control.

Map control is enforced through the use of power weapons and strategies to counter opposition.

Halo 3:
One team has the laser and can counter vehicles the other team has the sniper and can counter the laser while the opposing team can counter the sniper with vehicles...

One team can hold down the yellow lift with CQC weapons(shotguns and grav hammers) while the opposing team can break through that defense by charging with Overshield, needler support and sniper as cover.

These are what made the previous Halo's competitive so fluid.

Halo 4:
One team charges laser to counter vehicle, laser gets countered by sniper, sniper counters enemy vehicle.

Enemy team is holding down the sniper tower. Scrape a few kills and call in a sniper...

No emphasis for map control...

Then explain why people fight to control the high ground and choke points in Halo 4.

All I saw you argue was that you're butthurt you can't prevent the enemy team from getting power weapons of their own.

"Hiding behind rocks and then rushing the power weapons when they spawn" doesn't happen in high level gameplay, because if you try randomly rushing the power weapon without map control you'll end up dead.

Also: If I can betray my team mate for a vehicle I want to drive, should they take vehicles off the map as well?

On the Left

Godshatter: I can go all the way with someone without being attracted to them.
CamCamm: How does that work?
Godshatter: I'm easily aroused by anything that moves. It's a curse.
Brain says 'No, that's ugly', body says 'ugly is fine with me'.

Ordnance drops were implemented for more than one reason. And betrayal over vehicles never approached the level of retardedness that accompanied camping weapon spawns and betraying teammates for certain weapons.

I'm not sure how I can make it any clearer for you. If you try to rush the rocket launcher on Standoff by yourself directly after it spawns without team support and decent map control, you are going to die if you are playing against a competent team. It's not really hard to understand.

I have a theory that by Halo 6 we will have our own spartan mobility scooters.

I've never heard anyone say "High level gameplay" that wasn't an MLG tryhard. There's nothing "high level" about the gameplay in normal matchmaking.

The world is not beautiful: And that, in a way, lends it a sort of beauty.

~Kino's Journey

Better question, where are the weapons? the only time i ever see them is from an ordinance drop or sometimes at the start of the match then never again.

The point is that you view on power weapons with relation to map control is overly simplistic and doesn't match reality.
