military awaits Assad's order...

Please be wrong...

I believe two weeks ago the Obama Administration had a discussion somewhere regarding their response options in the event that chemical WMDs were used...

Chemical Weapons Convention

This situation is best described as a shat-sandwich without the bread.

- "Cross of Iron"

That isn't good, i wouldn't be surprised if we see a NATO response immediately.

Do it. I TRIPLE dog dare you.

OT: If he does it he'll have a hell storm coming straight for him. If he goes chemical I wouldn't be pissed if NATO got involved. But they should leave after they remove the threat.

Are you actually kidding me. More then 1 WOMD can exist in the world. The U.S. Has plenty. There is no evidence and it is actually the stupidest thing I have ever heard to suggest that.

Also, isn't the term just WMD?

Why is it stupid? I actually believe it. Saddam used chemical weapons on his own people, he was known to have a stockpile, and as soon as the U.S. starts looking for them, they are gone?

Id bet money they gave them to Syria.

If they drop one chemical bomb half the world is going to drop the hammer on them.

Seen that on the news here in Australia a few days ago, Obama said he will get involved if it's used. Looks like where most likley to get drag into pointless war because of america.

With something as serious as this? Of course we will, but primarily on humanitarian grounds.

  • 12.05.2012 4:07 PM PDT

I don't see you doing anything to help our country.
Except sitting at home, naked, eating twinkies, rubbing your hands together going "Heh. Target Destroyed. Mission Accomplished." Oh wait. that's not helping.

So Syria chemically bombing their own country has nothing to do with it and it's all the United States' fault now? You're telling me if this happened and NATO sanctioned action to be taken that would be all the fault of the United States? Hop off of the Anti-America train and think for a minute for once.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.” – Psalms 46:1-3

He has to. Every country from the UN that has signed a certain treaty has to. If they use a chemical weapon, it is no longer a decision that the UN will have to make, they will need to take action no matter what.
