What service provider do you have? Also, do you have insurance? You can always make a claim if you have it. Or, in a worst case scenario you can always take it to Apple to see if they can look at it. One of two things will happen: (1) They'll say your F'd. (2) They'll swap it out no questions asked.
Believe it or not, they do that quite often. I have numerous friends that work as Genius' behind the scenes and they always say they do that instead of actually fixing the problem.I have Verizon. And apples warranty doesn't cover water damage.
