A slim handful. All but one of the pictures you provided, as far as I could source them, were in Damascus, and the one in Sydney only had about fifty or one hundred people - there have been much bigger rallies in solidarity with the rebels here in Australia.

That seems like a bad strategy to me.

He's more likely to retain power that way than through a genuinely free election.

I just spent a minute looking for some, I have no doubt there are more of them on google and youtube with larger supporters in and out of Syria. From what I know, most of the Muslims in Australia are Lebanese and other foreign Arabs, not Syrians.
