Subject: Just finished Skyrim: Dragonborn's main quest (spoilers)

Trussingdoor is pretty kewl. He fires lasers and doesn't afraid of anything.

I thought it was a sweet battle. At first it looked like I was gonna drop him with four or five arrows, but then he turned ethereal, and then dragons rocked up and -blam!- got crazy. Plus he had plenty of cool dialogue, with almost a philosophical sense of humour- even when he got stabbed he was drawling something about how 'this is how hermaeus mora rewards his champions'.
I just wish we'd had more interaction with him. You only see him twice, counting the time he steals a Dragon Soul from you. He didn't have much of a character or personality set up. Even Harkon from Dawnguard felt like more of a complete character than Miraak, because of all that Serana told me.

If you count the times he appears stealing souls from you the number would be unlimited. Even if you leave to Skyim, Miraak still has a chance to appear after you kill a dragon and steal the soul. That is if you have't killed him yet.
Ah. I never had that problem, because I only fought one dragon, haha.

I dunno, I empathised more with him as a character than I did with Harkon.

Well I suppose that's normal. Harkon is an ancient undead guy who wants to blot out the sun and enslave the living.

Wait a minute.

Miraak is an ancient undead guy. Who wants to come back. And enslave the living.

And Alduin is an ancient dragon who came back. And wants to eat the living.

And Mehrunes Dagon is an ancient demon guy. Who wants to come to Tamriel. And enslave the living.

And Dagoth Ur was an ancient undead guy. Who came back. And wanted to become a God, then probably enslave the living.

I'm sensing a pattern here.

And then sometimes, Sheogorath happens; or the Tribunal expansion for Morrowind, in which you kill a living god who was already ruling over the living.

Eh, those are kind of different.

Almamexia is insane and vengeful because she lost her Godlike power.

Sheogorath is just insane, and needs help fighting Jyggalag. He's not an antagonist.
