There comes a time in every mans life... and that time is not now.

Regardless of specs, i'm going to say it's not worth it.

Skyrim really isn't a hard game to run on a pretty good/decent laptop. Though the problem is the OP's GPU is most likely integrated -blam!- since he doesn't know his specs.

Remember those times when we all had something better to be doing, but didn't do it? Those were good times. Gooood times

Probably, but I doubt it'll play well.

You won't be able to play it without a graphics card.

That's a fancy way of saying Integrated Graphics. Your CPU is running graphics, you have no graphics card.

If you're passionate about the thing you're talking about, I'll always lend an ear.

I heard the Intel HD4000 could run Skyrim [poorly] but still run it. Not bad for integrated.

OP wants to mod it so I'd think being able to run it poorly would be of no good to him.

Get a better cpu (it needs to be like twice as much) and a graphics card and you are on your way. It will cost ya a couple hundred USD. You should use Canyourunit.com, which was linked earlier in the thread.

He's using a laptop, I doubt he could upgrade.

Very few are capable of upgrading GPU, this is most certainly not one. An upgradable CPU is more common, but still unlikely.

Octavia is best pony.

Yes. Maybe not as well as you'd like, but playable. I've gotten Skyrim to run at somewhat playable framerates on a Dell netbook with an i3, 2 gigs of RAM, and Intel's integrated HD graphics card.

Not really reliable. It doesn't like Intel's integrated graphics card, so it rejects it every time. It can run it.
