Bioware drops a few hints on the next Mass Effect 3 DLC.

- All of the DLC writers are on board with this one
- Supposedly has high potential for tears (whether that means we'll be crying because it's sad or because how bad the DLC is we've yet to find out).
- Probably going to go back to the Citadel and will also feature the return of the Normandy's pilot Joker.

What are your thoughts on this?

Hey, uh, if you like vs threads, then check out this little group right here, if you have the time. It's pretty fun, just hop right in.

Will Batman kill him again?

My troll sense is tingling.

Highly unlikely unless it drastically changes the structure.

1. There is no post-game after the ending, which features Joker.
2. The DLC would have to be played and take place before the ending, so Joker dying would massively affect the ending in ways that would simply be too much to develop.

If anything, this will be Mass Effect 3's equivalent of 2's Overlord. Which could well be worth playing.

Its such a shame. Before ME3 happened I'd be over the moon for ME DLC.

And let it go

Unfortunately, yes. And while I'd love to see a post-ending DLC showing how Shepard's death affected our favorite characters, it seems very unlikely.

Life passes most people by while they're making grand plans for it. Throughout my lifetime, I've left pieces of my heart here and there. And now, there's almost not enough to stay alive. But I force a smile, knowing that my ambition far exceeded my talent. There are no more white horses or pretty ladies at my door.

Dude that's not funny, Heath Ledger was a national treasure.

Pfft. BioWare and their blatant lying... I won't get my hopes up ever again for the work of these people.

"I will show you how a true Prussian officer fights!"

"And i will show you where the iron crosses grow..."

- "Cross of Iron"

Why do they still make content for that game?

This.

There is no post-game. There's nothing to look forward to, guys. Nothing will change the ending or make a big difference in the plot.

Also, Joker is your old friend cripple pilot who is also the funny guy/comic relief. He isn't just wearing plot armor, he's physically composed of plot armor, with an outer coating of simulated skin and hair.

Is he the hero the Citadel deserves, but not the one it needs right now?

Because some people (myself included) still enjoy it.

We work in the dark to serve the light.

Duse, if Joker died, the universe would implode. And then explode. And then the explosion would implode on itself.

Must be fun paying $15 for 3 extra hours of nothing new. To each their own, I guess.

Like before, if the DLC doesn't change the final mission and still takes place before, while not affecting the game at all, it's still a no-buy. I just see no point in paying for content that will not affect the game. I don't care how fun it is; if it's over once it's over, it's pointless (i.e no squadmate carries over, no choices carry over, etc)
