Subject: Syrian Rebels: "When we finish Assad, we will fight US"

You know, this isn't surprising for me. I supported Assad from the start, this is why

Generalizing the entire rebel army as al Qaeda. The vast mejority of rebels in syria are simple civilians taking up arms. Hell, even in the lybian uprising the al qaeda helped the rebels.

EDIT : and the website you sourced looks like something designed 10 years ago

"I actually don't hold a grudge against someone talking trash about me if they're shot afterwards, I try to rise above that "

Gordon Freeman, Freeman's Mind

You know, there are multiple factions fighting Assad.

There are Islamists fighting and there are another group which the UN supports and gives right as the "official opposition" or something similar.

There will always be extremists who hate America, there was some in Libya during that conflict too...

This.

The article notes it was one fighter who uttered those words. One person =/= "the rebels"

i would say the same thing but becuase America wants to harness thousands and thousands of WMDs, it's probably best Al Qeada doesn't get it

I'm from Canada. If me and 100 people say we're going to attack a county, does that mean 101 people=Canada?

Damn it OP, you be a retard.

  • 12.06.2012 9:27 AM PDT

And how are they planning to do that?

  • 12.06.2012 9:28 AM PDT

Please stop complaining about the 'death of a loved one' it's my job. They probably deserved it anyways. Here's a warning, if you keep making pentagrams out of the neighbors livestock I will personally come to your house and kill everyone you love. Now leave me alone, I got to get back to work.

So you both want thousands of innocent people to die simply because they live in the US?

Because a bunch of crazed people with guns are only going to target the government with an attack and not harm anyone innocent. What have the politicians done to deserve to die? They're trying to do the best job they can whether you agree with it or not. They may not be doing a great job in the views of the public but I doubt many rational people think we should kill them just because they aren't doing a good job to us.

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

That Al Qaeda is among the rebels is not unexpected. Frankly, I am surprised that there aren't more. This article is an anti-Obama hit piece. Its written to mislead the reader into thinking that President Obama is knowingly aiding Al Qaeda. The last sentence makes that clear.

What the author, and many of you don't seem to realize is that there is no good side to support in this. Assad is gearing up to gas his own people, civilians and all, and the rebels will climb into bed with whomever will help them, AL Qaeda included. We need to support one of them, if anything to help draw this confrontation to its end and restore peace to the region.

So who gets support? The dictator willing to commit a war crime, or the rebels who are willing to deal with the devil to kill the dictator?
