My Brahman is ready.

I'm having some trouble winning in Dominion. Do you guys know any guide for Dominion, some tips and whatnot? I want to get the Commando armor, if you're wondering.

Its hard to win unless you end up with good randoms or go in with a team of your own.

The main thing is to hold 2 out of 3 areas.

Don't just capture the bases reinforce them I believe it gives your team some more points, and the turrents it sometimes gives the base are terrible at killing players but they may sometimes get off a lucky shot and kill one with low shields. And like the guy above me said it's hard to win without a decent team.

Nice guide, but I'm talking about Halo 4's Dominion. Thanks, though, I'll save this guide for later.

Dont just camp your bases. You want to be guarding the base closest to the enemy as a front line while assaulting their base(s).

Been in games where my whole team just defends and wonder why we lose.

I am your sword and shield to guide you through countless battles. I am your Alpha and Omega; beginning and end. I am GAMMA.

Good teamwork is a must.

Map control is important.

Map awareness; knowing where your enemy is going to attack/enter from, knowing who has what vehicle advantage, etc.

*Edit*: sometimes when I play with friends, we'll have two to three people defend, say Alpha base, while everyone else pushes/defends from Bravo.

These are my main pointers.

If done properly, you can win within two minutes.

So, you need to have a good team composition. A mixture of AD Carries, Mages, and Brawlers seems great. You usually send everyone for the control point at the top of the map and send one person in reserve to take the bottom control point. The guy in the bottom farms, three people fight over the top, one person roams around and backdoors / ganks like crazy.

I recommend Rammus, he rolls around very fast.

Also if your team can afford it, leave at least one person at the initial base with a power weapon, in case the enemy tries to flank you.

Steam

I'm sorry, but this is going to seem a little blunt and quite harsh. But this is the prime example of why games now-a-days are being casualized. You seriously had to come to a forums to ask how to win?

Next thing we'll have in-game prompts of what to do and when. I mean, it's an objective game, right? You're already told everything you could possibly need. You're warned visually and audibly when you're losing the objective. Surely that's enough of an idea for what you should be doing.

I mean, sure, it's cool that you're looking for tactics, tricks, tips etc. But seriously, it just ruins individual thinking. Having someone else do all the work for you. I know you're just asking for help, but sometimes, you just have to do it yourself.

OT: having one or two people sort of hang back and pepper them with long range while your frontline guys push tends to work. If you can confuse a person or two on the enemy team while you go in, your frontliners can take them out and storm the base easier.
