Subject: How a Bully Saved my Life

I used to be a pretty nerdy kid back in high school. I was into playing video games and not sports, not working out, dressing poorly and being awkward and shy around girls. Being hopeless like this of course a bully took notice of me and began to harass me. He would call me names and shove me down and push me around. It was like torture.

Anyway I got tired of his crap so I started working out, flirting with girls, getting into sports, and improving the quality of my life a ton. I began to finally live life and if not for that bully I would still probably a skinny nerd playing video games all day. I am glad that bully entered my life.

I know bullies get a lot of hate in the media when they say "oh they are killing our children" when bullies are just a normal part of life and growing up and facing adversity. So I just wanted to put a positive spin on bullying and how it builds character and toughness.

Love your friends, Die laughing.

Do you think this could apply to ciber-bullying?

The Internet is an empowerment tool that's agnostic; it doesn't care about race, gender, or age.

Would read again.

So... what happened between you and the bully afterwards? Did he look at your new-found manly-ness and stop?

I'm calling bull-blam!- on your story.

You stood up for yourself and changed, good for you. Doesn't change the fact that there shouldn't be bullies.

You're probably trolling anyways.

If you assign every letter of the alphabet a number, a is 1, b is 2, etc., and you take all of the values of the word "MATH", and add them, you get 42. So math is the meaning of life, the universe, and everything.

Thanks to bullies in primary school my parents put me in a Martial Arts school.

They don't mess with me anymore, but they are indeed a part of our life.

I don't want to start another account for a digital number that has no true value in ten years.

The key is how the victim handles being bullied, glad to see you improved from it. Usually kids who get bullied put it on themselves.

Sad how?

Working out isn't just to fit in. It's to get healthier both physically and mentally.
