Should Bungie/Microsoft come out with a connector/converter piece that would allow the s contoller able to be used for the 360 console?? I myself and many others i know as well despise the 360 contorller and hate how it is built, soley for halo 2 playing purposes. not only that, but i would looove to play h2 and h3 on the 360 using my s contoller , im sure others would too. (if that connector piece came out tomarow i would go right away to buy one and a 360 immediatley) NOTE:i do not have 360 yet, i always play on my neighbors 360 all the time, we have heck loads of fun, 360 is amazing, just not feeling the controllers.im sure theres some of you out there that dislike them as well :)

edit: is it just me or does anyone else feel like they can not what so ever get warmed up for halo 2 using the 360 contoller, i played h2 for hours on my friends 360(and have been doing so for many months) and it stilll felt as if i wasnt warmed up AT ALL, really weird, but when i go back to play on my original xbox and s contorller it takes me MAX 30 minutes to get warmed up to play good in h2

The two buttons near the trigger replace the black and white buttons, so that takes some getting used to. I myself have some 360 controllers so I wouldn't need one, but yeah, that would come in handy.

"I came back to life for THIS?!" -Sgt. Johnson

I don't understand all the fuss. It just takes a day or two to get used to the controller.

Rogue Elite, youre kind of wrong on this one, the controller, controlling, the problem you guys are talking about is probably aiming sensitivity, i find that in Halo-CE sniping allows for a load more of control, it may just be the auto aim, but i find myself constantly overshooting on Halo 2 because i cant focus it enough. They changed the aiming for both games, and Halo 2 on 360 i think is just unacceptable, i hope Bungie does not change the average sesitivity or auto aim.

WTF 360 is awesome, I even use it on PC, I hate every Xbox controller except Logitech, so I put -blam!- no.

I've been playing both halos on my 360 for months. I don't feel any difference between the 360 controller, and the s-type. I actually prefer the 360 since its wireless.

Stop your complaining and get used to it. The controller ater a couple of days is easy to et used too. Plus the 360 is wireless and feels llike your always in control. Some people want a conveter cable for the controllers because they cant afford 360 controllers and i say your a poor -blam!- and you mom and dad doesent love you enough to get a job.

Look... I'm on bungiepedia!

I never thought a controller could be better than the one that came with the original Xbox (S-type) until I got my 360.

Some how I feel this has nothing to do with halo 3. But i hope Radica make a new FPS master for the 360 that would be sweet.

Sorry but I like the new feel and size of the new controller. It's much more efficient.

Get over it. I can use either. Half the time i play Halo 2 on my 360, then go back to my room and play it on my Xbox because my dad takes over the big screen. I PLAY JUST AS GOOD ON EITHER ONE. PEOPLE WHO SAY THEY CANT PLAY AS GOOD ON ONE AS THEY CAN ON THE OTHER ARE USING IT AS AN EXCUSE FOR THEIR SUCKISHNESS.
(and that IS a word as far as i am concerned so shutup)

No the 360 controller is so much better than the xbox controller so it would be stupid to get a converter for you to play halo 2 or halo 3

Halo 2's controls were made to fit the Xbox's controller, Halo 3's control will be made to fit the Xbox 360' controller. As simple as that.

I don't really see a point in Microsoft doing that...
It would be cheaper for them to make a whole new controller for the 360 modelled after the original xbox controller.
It's the hardware itself in the 360 that doesn't support an original controller, and an adapter won't change that.

And this has very little to do with Halo 3.

xbox 360 comes with a wireless controller, i like wireless way better than wired, and it would be pointless

I'm fine with the 360 controller on Halo 2,so it'll b good for me on Halo 3,also,I'm fine with the xbox controller,so I really don't care

P.S.This is sort of off-topic,I think it needs to be in the flood, but I praise that someone actually made a topic that has NOT been repeated.

They have wired 360 controllers. what the hell is the point to make a convesion? It would just confuse the 360 because there wouldnt be any secondary triggers. stupid idea.
