Explain, because based on economics, it's not a very wise decision.

Prove how it isn't a wise decision. You provide NO proof for your claim. Canada has it and they're doing fantastic. Explain that, retard.

And now you look like an idiot.

Sure because it's totally possible to be 100% unbiased in an article. ONE article.

You still look like an idiot.

Your only argument is wait times...which is stupid in itself.

If we disagree, it's nothing personal, opinions are opinions.
Antagonizing me to build a false sense of worth is so damn cute.

Brighten your day with science.

So you think we should turn down healthcare because they have no money?

Grow up kiddy.

I said that where?

And what?

It's not economically a wise decision- or morally.

lolwat

What the -blam!- do you mean by "morally"?

That's the moral behind it.

Elaborate, because I think we're on the same page, but I have no idea what you're trying to say.

Please do not send me group invites.

Economics aside, I think everyone deserves to get proper care. When they get hurt/sick, their first thought shouldn't be "can I afford this?"

It sounded like that you did not there was no moral basis behind socialised healthcare.

I'm saying that the moral in it is access to healthcare for everyone.

Why should I have to pay for someone elses medical bills?

If you cant afford something, you shouldnt get it

Still too stupid to read the first article I see.

All it has is a chart for wait times, that's it.

Again, you fail to see the holes in your own argument by suggesting wait times are more harmful than lack of healthcare access.

(V)!_!(V) crab

The nation doesnt pay for the healthcare the people do. Basically how Canadian heath care goes is this:

1. Work and pay taxes
2. Taxes automatically seperate into different parts. Some of it goes to your provicial healthcare insurance policy.
3. Go to hospital/ sign in
4. Anything that is covered under your Provincial policy is covered. You might get a invoice for things that arent.

All "universal Healthcare" is is a affordable and forced insuarance policy. When I travel to America everything is cheaper from food, clothes, services, etc. America can afford it they just dont want to give up part of their paycheck for it.

That's not how socialized programs work. You're not paying for someone else's bills. Everyone is paying for everyone's bills.

It's a fundamental difference we will never agree on.

So you would rather see people die than to see tax dollars spent on them?

And this is the problem, folks.

Well that's too bad. In a perfect world, everyone can have quality healthcare, but it doesn't work like that. Frankly, people need to handle their insurance situation.
But why CAN'T it work like that? Plenty of countries handle it successfully.

It really just depends on the family and situation.

My own, for instance. I've only recently been able to get my teeth checked and fixed because A) my mom had insurance and B) I had some poor saps help me get it done.

I really don't like how it works about getting the money, but the benefits should be considered for the family.

Generalizations.
Helping idiots hate other idiots since people have existed.

In the United States healthcare system, people suffer more because they can't afford it.

In some socialized systems, people suffer more because there are more people in the system, hence longer wait times.

Yes I would.

I think its a joke that my tax dollars go toward clowns who dont work and cant afford their lifestyle.

I want my taxes going towards things that matter. like schools, police, fireman
