The Song Of Nephilim

Xenoblade <3

Miranda Keyes and Johnson's deaths. Cortana as well =[

I am a monument to all your sins

Cortana's death, followed by Jorge's. Johnson's didn't really affect me for some reason.

-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

When I realized the ending of Halo 3 was going to be another Warthog run.

When Sgt Johnson died, i don't think Cortana is dead guys.

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

Cortana's death, the only time this series has had such a profound emotional effect on me - to see this character I've seen develop over 11 years bow out to deliver the final thematic message of the game was a truly satisfying conclusion to a character arc.

Jen Taylor and McKenzie Mason both were absolutely stellar in illustrating Cortana through speech and facial capture in Halo 4. Sublime work.

"There's a very fine line between not listening, and not caring. I'd like to think that I walk that line every day."

Cortana's goodbye

Yeah, I thought about that scene for days. The funny thing is, I don't think it was Cortana that made me feel so sad. It was Chief's reaction that broke me. You could just feel the pain and desperation through that armor, and after 11 years of a talking brick, it just felt really powerful.
