Tell them this.

Or, if that doesn't work, get a job. You may get a job that you like and there are far more job options than there are sport options.

If your grades are good I think they should leave you be. I'm really similar to you, my dad tells me to do more stuff but all I desire to do is hang out with friends, text people, and play Xbox. And yes, I am defiantly a shy and anxious person. But I completely understand my parents anger towards me because I am failing 3 classes right now due to utter apathy. So the point is, make your self look like you care, and try to make good grades and I think they will be satisfied.
If you have good grades, and your parents acknowledge this, then they're just fascists.

to be frank, I really don't want to grow up. Anone can admit life is hard, and getting a job and accepting that reality is the first step. It may seem naive, but this is how I feel.
Lol, so you think you are the only one in the world who doesn't want to grow up? Flash news: nobody wants to grow up. I, for example, didn't want to grow up, but I had to. The earlier you grow up, the better. That's because if you start growing up now it will be a gradual change, while instead if you want more time all the experience you can gain now will be lost and you will have a -blam!-load of responsabilities all at once.

Trust me: the earlier, the better.

Do not listen to this moron. Avoiding the problem is NOT the solution, it only furthers your problems.

"Wake me...when you need me."

It's you OP. Not your parents.

If I ever get AIDS, I'm going to sleep with another AIDS person so my AIDS cancel each other out, or I'm going to make the AIDS I already have worse.

Get a job at a pizza parlor it's full of anti-social people in the kitchen, also money.

I am a pharmaceutical scientist. I received my Masters degree in Pharmaceutics from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in 2010, after working as a Pharmacist for 4 years. I currently work in King of Prussia, PA, and focus on the analytical chemistry of small molecule APIs. My clients include some of the most well known big pharma companies in the world.

Sorry, I laughed out loud when I saw curling and then couldn't be bothered to continue reading.
I laughed out loud when I read your post. I belong to a curling club in the Philadelphia area. It's a fun sport if you have the time to play a physically involving game of strategy.
