Level 40 and up in Lone Wolves was a -blam!-.

For all questions with answers unknown to you, the proper procedure is to assume the answer is peanut butter.

While that may be true, I'm just going to pretend otherwise.

I was decent. I could maintain a positive KD and get decent kills. I was just never really competitive. I had more fun doing stupid things, or just flat out rushing the objective. Even being a "casual" player, Halo 3 was much more fun than Reach or Halo 4 could ever be.

It's a'me, Sesto

I was decent. Only got 45, but I didn't really try hard in 45+. My 45 was in Lone Wolves, and once I got my 45, I stopped playing for months. Later tried to get my 50, but after a game or two I quit as I knew it would be a pain in the ass. Other ranked matches were mainly SWAT and stuff, things I don't really like but my friends always wanted to play.

Overall though, I usually (and still do in Halo Reach/4) am the best on my team.

Oh Yes!

I got better over time.

"What are we holding on to, Sam?"
"That there's some good in this world, and it's worth fighting for."

I got a 50, so I was pretty good. I still play it now.

Oh god yes. Back in the day when I was at my best, I would most of the time become the MVP and always be among the top players on the scoreboard. Nowadays my skill has dropped a lot. It gets too laggy for me to play anyway, from coop campaign to matchmaking.

I haz teh nostalgic sad now :'(

I consider Halo 3 the peak of my Halo "skills".

It was also the most fun.

<(-_-)> Teh mokey is not amused

I would be better at halo 3 now than I was before reach came out, I've got a better understanding of strategy now.

Feel free to send me messages, please be willing to wait 6-8 years for a reply.

1-7 hours if you at least tried to make it readable.

Immediately if you are Yax, Telec, or legendary.

Never if you are mythic, you guys smell funny.

Nope, I was terrible, I apologise for ruining the mighty halo 3 servers with my low skill and casual gamer attitude, which I know so many of you raged at.

The more I say Chang the more asian it sounds.

It's a roller coaster ride really. Sometimes I be beast mode and other times I just drop rock bottom.

Happens to everyone I guess.

To an extent, I wasn't able to RuN 50 high but I did have a 50.

At my prime I was pretty good. Highest skill was a 37, but it could have been higher than did if I didn't spend so many games prating around.

Well I was pretty pleased with myself at times, I know I wasn't the best but it felt very rewarding when you did well in that game.

My highest skill is 44 in SWAT with a 43 in LW. It was tough being a colonel on these forums when H3 was in its prime.

I considered myself to be good, however my skills aren't what they used to be.

  • 12.07.2012 7:39 AM PDT

Quick as a razor, sharp as a bullet.

I wasn't very good for so long on Halo MP, starting with 3 (never bothered with 2 online, too much hassle with Xbox Live 1.0). Then, somehow, I became half decent over the last few months. It was an achievement for me to go positive most of the time, but in both 3 and Reach I started going positive quite a lot. And now in H4 I go positive most games.

Halo no longer has that chess kind of approach on it where two teams battle for map control, working together to outplay the other team. Its now a bunch of sugar rushed ten year old's playing soccom boppers at 12:00 AM.

I'm not mean. I don't troll. I like The Flood.
~08/08/2000~ I'm 11 right now. Please don't let this convey an immature image of me.

I had several 50's on two accounts. I liked Halo 3 and Halo 2's ranking system.

I acknowledge my user name is stupid. However, I promise I'm not.

Disclaimer: The latter is a lie.

I was pretty good, yeah.

Looking at the responses ITT it's strange to see that there's still a fair amount of people who can't admit they weren't very good at H3 despite it being 5 years old.
