I'm willing to bet most of the people who hate Jersey shore haven't even watched it. Either they're hopping on the hate bandwagon or simply hate it because its popular. And you'll notice a lot of the people who hate it are generic loser kids who are most likely jealous of the success of those people.
First off, what success are you referring to? They got put onto a show where everything important gets done for them so they can party all the time. It isn't success when it is given to you. Second they are all, each and every single one, self centered and moronic. I really don't like the show, but I won't down on the people who watch it. When it comes down to it, it is trash of the same level as family guy or southpark. Granted I do enjoy both these shows from time to time, I can admit that they are trash.
They get payed thousands and episode. They make more money is two, if not one episode than you make in a year.
They only get paid that much because people unfortunately like to see such idiocy. There is no quality to this show. Basically, this show operates on the premise of giving some young 20 year olds a house to live in, enough money that they never have to worry about work or bills (which are taken care of by the show), and pretty much a do whatever you want deal. The drama is petty and easily avoidable, however each person is very self centered. They all talk a big game but none of em have much to back up with besides having "buff bods". Which might I add means nothing at all.
This show is just as bad as the whole Honey Boo Boo thing. I can say all these things because I have sat down and watched episodes. Multiple seasons, multiple times. I have never found one that was even remotely enjoyable. I honestly pity Snooki's child that it has a mother such as she was born with, I hope that if she can't do her duties properly that she is taken and put into a real home.
