This does not make any sense
Reading the article it seems that some guy in a pickup pulled up the driveway (probably accidentally which happens alot in the country) and suddenly a man and his son is trigger happy and starts pointing guns ASAP basically being REALLY immature and irresponsible with a gun (probably thinking real life is Black Ops) and the guy calls 911 confused while the wife confirms the whole stupidity of the situation.
Honestly I need more details before I start siding, this is too sketchy
I am pretty sure that someone entering your home uninvited is reason enough to get your gun.
The fact that the home owner did not shoot shows great restraint, not a trigger happy redneck. he never entered the house dude. And I had people pull up my driveway and make u turns all the time. And I'm not stupid enough to start pointing guns at people becuase they're in my driveway. Have one in my pocket? Yes. Pointing it and being trigger happy just becuase he is in my driveway? No
Except the guy did go into their house.i would like to take that sentence as something not made up by the wife and father but somehow I just can't. The story just seems far stretch for both sides
Ok, ask your self.
What reason does someone have to pointing a gun at someone, calling the police, not shooting, then saying the man was not in his right mind?
What does that get them? They obviously didn't want the guy dead, because they had the opportunity to shoot him. They obviously didn't want to rob him because they called the cops too. What could they possibly gain by detaining someone?
