The only time I've seen them, (always in cartoons) it's been very grid like shots on the arm or back. I don't see how this affects anything. If their taking blood it's not like the blood is going to change depending on where they take it from, right?
Can someone please explain this process to me?As others have said, they're exposing you to allergens, not taking blood. That's what the needles are for.
They're kinda spread out into a grid so that they're spaced far enough apart for the doctors to be able to tell which ones are causing which effect. The doctor also has a little key telling him or her which needle in the grid is which allergen.
Using those results, they can give you a list of what specifically you are allergic to so you know what to avoid and what to watch for as far as pollen, and in some cases give you a specific medicine for a specific allergy.
