71 years ago was an important event that left 2400 U.S soldiers dead and our naval fleet in ruins. This incident would lead to the intoduction of the U.S to World War II and the relocation of 100,000 Japanese U.S citizens to internment camps.

Take a moment to remember the attack on Pearl Harbor.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Today is also the VGA awards where we will see DESTINY hopefully.

Butt ugly ape” remarked Sergeant Johnson always making fun out of the situation even though he had been hit by a spiker round in the arm. He mustered up the strength to continue and the team moved on. The Arbiter informed him that the next room held The Prophet of Truth and this was the final room before extraction. Jun proposed that he takes a shot from a distance the prophet and they all head back to the ship bay for extraction. The team agreed on this and breached the last door…

Pearl Harbor was beastly, but the nukes were unnecessary.

President Franklin D. Roosevelt: Yesterday, December 7, 1941a date which will live in infamythe United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan.

The United States was at peace with that nation, and, at the solicitation of Japan, was still in conversation with its government and its emperor looking toward the maintenance of peace in the Pacific. Indeed, one hour after Japanese air squadrons had commenced bombing in the American island of Oahu, the Japanese ambassador to the United States and his colleague delivered to our secretary of state a formal reply to a recent American message. While this reply stated that it seemed useless to continue the existing diplomatic negotiations, it contained no threat or hint of war or armed attack.

It will be recorded that the distance of Hawaii from Japan makes it obvious that the attack was deliberately planned many days or even weeks ago. During the intervening time the Japanese government has deliberately sought to deceive the United States by false statements and expressions of hope for continued peace.

The attack yesterday on the Hawaiian Islands has caused severe damage to American naval and military forces. I regret to tell you that very many American lives have been lost. In addition, American ships have been reported torpedoed on the high seas between San Francisco and Honolulu.

Yesterday the Japanese government also launched as attack against Malaya.

Last night Japanese forces attacked Hong Kong.

Last night Japanese forces attacked Guam.

Last night Japanese forces attacked the Philippine Islands.

Last night Japanese forces attacked Wake Island.

And this morning the Japanese attacked Midway Island.

Japan has, therefore, undertaken a surprise offensive extending throughout the Pacific area. The facts of yesterday and today speak for themselves. The people of the United States have already formed their opinions and well understand the implications to the very life and safety of our nation.

As commander in chief of the Army and Navy I have directed that all measures be taken for our defense. But always will our whole nation remember the character of the onslaught against us. . .

Recon Number 54 -
If they are still looking, then while holding the snarl, I let drool start to drip from my mouth, I stand, curl my fingers into claws and with a hunched over crouch, I then make slow and deliberate steps towards them. When I get close enough, I let them hear my agonized and gasping growls and then, if they continue to stare, when I get within arm's reach? I kiss them on the nose, and run away giggling.

Did anyone ever work out why they attacked Pearl Harbour?

Was it simply because they thought the US would not allow them to build an empire in the Far East?

"Oh lets mourn the 2400 dead soldiers, boo hoo" Oh yeah, what about nagasaki and hiroshima? Is that less of a civilian death toll? less of an importance? You americans.

Pearl harbour: 2400 dead

Nagasaki: 60,000 to 80,000
Hiroshima: 90,000 to 166,000
Total: 150,000 to 246,000(maybe more)
Not to forget the radiation poisoning and cancer that ensued.

Learn something!

I hate americans like you that are so self absorbed.

Too bad being completely and utterly wrong isn't a bannable offense.

Japan got most/all of its steel and oil from the US.

In WWII the US cut off those resources.

So Japan decided to take those resources from everyone in Asia.
