Subject: So what is Journey?

OMGZZ!!!!!!

"It's Afghanistanimation!"

I keep hearing these amazing things about this smilingly small and yet surprising game that apparently blew everybody away. I have a PS3, so I am in the picture to get it. Just what is it all about?

Just play it and find out.

It looks absolutely beautiful. Someday I need to friend up with a person who has a PS3 so I can try it out.

Pro-tip: game titles usually have a relevance to what happens in a game.

"What are we holding on to, Sam?"
"That there's some good in this world, and it's worth fighting for."

The most emotional game ever.

I'm an Indonesian Halo (and other games) gamer!
Bhineka Tunggal Ika!!

A -blam!- experience, that's what Journey is.

Go play it. Also it's better with stranger.
Especially if he keep playing until the end.

Pretty short, actually. I forgot how long it was since it's been months.

Unless you're also trying to get the trophies in your first playthrough.
Please don't do that. At least until you've finished it.

If you get a chance to talk to K-Mart, tell him Mabian misses him...

He won't remember me, but it's always nice to let a complete stranger on the internet know that you care.

Sir I can't help but get the sense that you don't want to really talk about this, you want to "nail" me.

No, maybe around 2 hours.

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

A 2 hour... well, journey. The second you play it, you'll see what it's about. It's beautiful, easily the Shadow of the Colossus of this generation.

Seriously, words cannot be articulated in a way which can do justice to the game. Buy it and experience it for yourself.

  • 12.07.2012 7:13 AM PDT

Just play it, and make sure you're online when you do.

Any way I try to describe it here while trying to be vague is just going to sound like, "Well, you walk through this desert for two hours, and then you climb up a mountain. The End."

It's relaxing, awe-inspiring, and can be quite emotional even though there's not a single line of dialogue.

Note: If you don't already have Flower or Flow, I recommend you buy the Journey Collector's Edition. Everything thatgamecompany has released has been really good, or at least very intriguing.

Sums it up perfectly. It's the Shadow of the Colossus of this generation. It's soundtrack has even been nominated for a Grammy.

NON FACET NOBIS CALCITRARE VESTRUM PERNĒ¢UM

Journey:
Journey is an American rock band formed in 1973 in San Francisco by former members of Santana and Frumious Bandersnatch. The band has gone through several phases; its strongest commercial success occurred between 1978 and 1987, after which it temporarily disbanded. During that period, the band released a series of hit songs, including 1981's "Don't Stop Believin'", which became in 2009 the top-selling catalog track in iTunes history. *Source Wiki

Never played the game though.

Bob & Tom were talking about the first video game soundtrack being nominated for a Grammy, and for awhile they actually thought Journey wrote the soundtrack.

A bad game, there is no justification for why people like it.

People call it an 'experience', so what? Every game is a damn experience, that's the least descriptive word ever.

You base the game on the play time? Portal was about 2 hours.
