What do you think about it, is it worse than Halo 2's?

Black ops 2 takes better aiming skills than Halo 4's huge hit boxes IMO.

I haven't even bothered picking up Black Ops 2 but it probably takes a lot more skill than Halo 4. This game was made for noobs.

Pre order cancelled.

I <3 Halo:Reach - amazingly fun and best campaign + amazing Soundtrack
I <3 Halo 3:ODST - best soundtrack + Firefight + Coastal Highway and Mombassa Streets, amazingly unique campaign.
I <3 Halo 3 - best multiplayer levels + Forge + best Custom Games + soundtrack
I <3 Halo 2 - amazing huge fun campaign + soundtrack + Fun multiplayer
I <3 Halo: CE - started it all

And if we went back to literally every Halo game, you would see they have have big aim assist, thus why its like 10X harder to kill your teammate purposely.

Of course it was. You want to market a game to your lowest common denominator in order to sell the most copies.

I'm sorry you guys are so hardcore that a AAA title wasn't hardcore enough for you. If they marketed toward niche markets like you, games would never make enough money to cover their expenses.

*Looks at Halo 2 and 3*

Yeah I don't think you know what you are talking about.

What about H2 and 3? They weren't for hardcore gamers, either.

I'm going to invade your heart like a barn swallow high on milk chocolate and grandma love.

Fairness is only possible within the limited powers of man. Elsewhere, there is only chance.

Thus I refute thee.

You need those hitboxes, and quite frankly they're not that big. Aim assist is important in a game. Try turning it off in Halo: CEA and play the game. You'll want it back right away.

Video in OP is about bullet magnetism not aim assist, there is a difference.

You mean "bullet magnetism" and yes I agree

Except for this. No matter how easy halo 4 is, it will never be easier than any CoD multiplayer.

What about H2 and 3? They weren't for hardcore gamers, either.

They had many hardcore aspects which in comparison a lot of games released over the past few years are severely lacking. Sure you can say they were not made specifically for hardcore gamers because if that was the case the game would be extremely hard to pick up and play. When people say they want a hardcore game nobody is saying they want an extremely hard to pick up game they just want competitive aspects in it which in the end makes the game better for everyone. The moment you market/make a game solely for game solely for casuals you are essentially stripping a game of a lot of skill and strategy which is important for all levels of gaming. Essentially Halo 2 and Halo 3 both had a lot of hardcore aspects to them, but they also didn't go overboard and alienate the casual crowd. Halo 4 and even Halo Reach in comparison were games built to go after the success of the CoD franchise thus taking away a lot of originality and hardcore aspects that were once present.

It's good they want to target a larger market. But when the game suffers because it's a noobfest, and the large drop in population shows that, something is wrong here.

  • 12.07.2012 10:56 AM PDT

So you're telling me that if you fire my turret two bullets at a time and the reticule is red, I'll have 100% accuracy? OH BOY!

If it literally took no skill then I wouldn't know so many people who suck at it.

But they don't care about that. They just care about the number of commas in their check.
