I haven't even bothered picking up Black Ops 2 but it probably takes a lot more skill than Halo 4. This game was made for noobs.
Of course it was. You want to market a game to your lowest common denominator in order to sell the most copies.

I'm sorry you guys are so hardcore that a AAA title wasn't hardcore enough for you. If they marketed toward niche markets like you, games would never make enough money to cover their expenses.

It's good they want to target a larger market. But when the game suffers because it's a noobfest, and the large drop in population shows that, something is wrong here.
But they don't care about that. They just care about the number of commas in their check.

Yeah, and I can't blame them for that because they are a business. But as a fan of the series I just can't bring myself to thoroughly enjoy the game like I did Halo 2-3.

Oh please, it can't be that bad OP.

*Watches OPs video*

Oh my God. The reticule doesn't even have to be red. That's complete horse -blam!-.

Every Halo game after CE and most console shooters have this aim assist. I don't see what's the problem now.

Muffins are just ugly cupcakes

Wait, you're saying my K/D isn't something worth bragging to my girlfriend about?

Big whoop, hitboxes are too derpy derp whatever. It's a game, it's fun, get over it.

Did you even watch the video? AA is one thing, but to actually have bullets hit the enemy when your reticle isn't even on them is just absurd.

In Halo 3 you could walk around the enemy and without ever touching the right stick to aim, the crosshairs would still stay on the enemy.
It was literally automatic aim.

You people act as if this is some shocking reveal for how nooby Halo 4 is. No, this is Halo. It has always been.

I am not denying Halo 3 and even Halo 2 had a lot of aim assist, but Halo 4 has a lot more. Really unless your reticle is red you shouldn't be able to hit a person unless you are using something like a rocket launcher. It just shows how much 343i tried to help out casuals.

That's...a bit ridiculous. But aim assist is needed for console shooters, and anyways, previous Halo games had bullet magnetism like this too.

Not true at all. There are console games without AA and people can still do perfectly fine.

You can turn it off in BF3, and IMO is a lot better without AA.

You can also turn it off in Black ops, but its vital, because of lag compensation.
