The Panda wants to cuddle.

What do you think this was? I mean as great as they are, there were other movies released in that time with more complex and intruiging plot, not to say that the Star Wars plot wansn't amazing. Was it the characters?

Because it is -blam!- Star Wars what more is there to say? Are you trying to tell us OP that you don't understand what is so great about Star Wars?

imo, lightsabers, R2-D2, and C3P0 were key elements in attaching fans from the start, as well as the special effects.

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

Please allow me to introduce Myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man's soul and faith

Not really. Star Wars have way more fans than just fan boys.

Star Wars told a story very well. They tied in much of the mythology that ties the story to many myths in human history.

Look up Joseph Campbell and the Power of Myth

NON FACET NOBIS CALCITRARE VESTRUM PERNĒ¢UM

It an epic tale that has plenty of deeper meaning behind it as well.

The story was good, the effects were jaw-dropping at the time and Harrison Ford.
